GNB will expand the use of best value procurement approaches for construction procurement.

Where possible, procurement specifications will be drafted based on New Brunswick products and will not exclude NB suppliers or contractors from the competition.

E-BIDDING
E-bidding will be introduced for construction bidding opportunities, and the use of electronic bidding will be expanded for the procurement of goods and services, including RFPs.

SNB and ONB will meet regularly with representatives from departments, school districts and regional health authorities to discuss possible avenues for supporting NB suppliers and contractors.

INDUSTRY – GNB PROCUREMENT TASK FORCE 
GNB will establish a sector specific task force with representation from industry to identify barriers and possible solutions to procurement in New Brunswick.
