New Brunswick First Procurement Strategy

Acknowledging the role of public procurement as a driver of economic growth, the New Brunswick First Procurement Strategy is designed to enhance opportunities for New Brunswick suppliers and contractors to secure contracts with the Government of New Brunswick.

This strategy is the result of a collaborative effort between Service New Brunswick, Opportunities New Brunswick and the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, and extensive consultations with New Brunswick suppliers and industry associations.

The NB First Procurement Strategy’s primary objectives are:

NB First Suppliers

New Brunswick suppliers means New Brunswick manufacturers and/or vendors that have a place of business in New Brunswick. New Brunswick contractors means a contractor of construction services that has a place of business in New Brunswick. This place of business refers to an establishment where regular business activities are conducted on a permanent basis, is clearly identified by name and is accessible during normal business hours.
